Lafont's commitment to sustainability is at the heart of the new Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Lafont has integrated an eco-responsible approach in its creative studio, by combining it with the brand's evewear expertise.

Creative upcycling by Lafont

Creative upcycling is illustrated by the new, Limited-Edition INOUIE. This technique used to craft the frame combines both recycled acetate with bio-acetate. The two materials undergo a thermofusion process that yields a distinct, bright results. Thomas lafont artisticallv innovated three new color offerings.

Lafont's commitment to the future

Designed to be safe and eco-responsible, the new designs are offered for children 6 months to 12 vears. The new children's frames contain no phthalates, are bio-sourced, eco-responsible, biodegradable, and recyclable!

With our own rich optical history, we have become quite experienced in finding and providing the best eyewear brands that our Seattle patients want.

A few of our eyewear brands date back to the 1800’s and many back to the 70’s and 80’s. Other eyeglasses brands are newer and have taken the world by storm. The combination of these brands provide our diverse Seattle patient base with nearly 2,000 hand selected frames to select from.

With so many frame and lens possibilities, looking for a great pair of glasses can feel overwhelming, but not at Roosevelt Vision. We are focused on helping you find eyewear that brings out your best - while keeping the process simple and fun.

Frame warranty

Every frame we offer comes with a full 2 year warranty against manufacturer defects. They are not warranted against loss or abuse. Warranted frames are not subject to exchange fees.

Stop in, at your convenience, with the repair in question, and we will be happy to advise you of your solution options.

Satisfaction guarantee

We proudly offer a satisfaction warranty on all of your initial purchases, within 30 days of when you pick them up. Our Opticians are highly trained in helping you select the right lens and frame combination, but we understand that sometimes a re-style is needed. Re-styling during this period is not subject to additional fees beyond product upgrades.

Service

Minor repairs such as screw and nosepad replacements, and all frame adjustments, are complimentary, regardless of where the glasses were purchased.

We can also evaluate your eyewear in need of repair and give our honest expert advice.

Erin’s world

Erin’s World frames were developed by the dedication of Maria Dellapina in 2004. Maria’s youngest daughter Erin was diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth. Many frustrating years followed as Maria tried to find spectacles that would fit and fulfil the optical requirements of Erin. Maria combined her extensive knowledge of optics with her passion for success and began to develop a spectacle frame that would fit Erin perfectly.

Erker’s 1879

Founded in Saint Louis. Missouri in 1879 by A.P. Erker, Erkers Eyewear is a family company who looks into the past to build a future. Their heritage brand reflects the passion and hard work they’ve been dedicating for years to the optic profession. For over 140 Years and 5 Generations, their name has been synonymous with fine eyewear. Still headquartered in Saint Louis, they are proud to service boutiques across the world.

Kate Spade

Kate Brosnahan Spade, an accessories editor, was frustrated she couldn't find the fashionable, utilitarian handbag she'd been craving for years and set out to design the perfect one out of her apartment. She made samples out of construction paper. She combined sleek shapes and colorful palettes in an entirely new way. Women and fashion editors loved the designs. They sparked a revolution in accessories.

L.A. Eyeworks

l.a.Eyeworks began on September 9, 1979 when Barbara McReynolds and Gai Gherardi opened a single storefront on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California. More than four decades and hundreds of frame designs later, l.a.Eyeworks remains a privately owned house encompassing two namesake retail stores in Los Angeles and a wholesale company that channels its influential designs to a global network of independent opticians and retailers.

Lafont

The first LAFONT shop in Paris was opened by Louis Lafont in 1923. In 1972, Philippe and Laurence, created the brand LAFONT, in order to distribute the first exclusive collection. The LAFONT concept is a combination of design and technique in order to create stylish frames. It’s a daily job to look for new exclusive colours with a refined design and a great deal of detail. The studio LAFONT ensures that design & the product are the mark of the brand.

Maui Jim

Maui Jim got its start in 1980 as a small company selling sunglasses on the beach in Lahaina, Hawaii. Seeing a need in the market for technology that could combat intense glare and harmful UV while bringing the brilliant colors of the island to life, they engineered the revolutionary PolarizedPlus2® lens. Incorporated into seven new sunglass styles, their Classic Collection was introduced. They now offer over 125 styles of sunglasses.

MODO was founded in New York City IN 1990. From the beginning, they offered eyewear that delivered on lightness and lasting quality. Nike kids

Nike was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by Bill Bowerman, a track-and-field coach at the University of Oregon, and his former student Phil Knight. They opened their first retail outlet in 1966 and launched the Nike brand shoe in 1972. The company was renamed Nike, Inc., in 1978 and went public two years later. By the early 21st century, Nike had retail outlets and distributors in more than 170 countries, and its logo—a curved check mark called the “swoosh”—was recognized throughout the world.

NW 77th

NW 77th brand was created by the multigenerational optician shop in St. Louis when they could not find a brand to fill a need in their store. They went to the drawing board and created the brand. Longtime friends and partners in the industry, who also had retail stores, took notice and soon began asking if they could buy NW77th to sell in their own stores. They quickly expanded the brand, sent them out to their salesforce in the US and Canada where they have had great success.

Prodesign

Since 1973 prodesign has created beautiful eyewear with a clean-cut Scandinavian feel. Drawing on their Danish heritage they design innovative eyewear with a close-knit relationship between functionality and visual expression. Scott Harris

It was 1977 - one garage, two visionaries, six frames. Alan Shapiro was the quintessential traveling salesman and Cynthia Shapiro took care of the rest of the business, including caring for their infant son, Scott. Thanks in equal parts to their determination to succeed and the many friendships they made in the process, Europa Eyewear continued to grow, and the Shapiro family blossomed into the Europa Family as Al and Cyn brought on their first hires (many of whom remain with the company to this day). As Alan Shapiro always said, "We don't have employees, we have families for whom we're responsible."

In April 2005, after designing for a different luxury brand for 15 years, Tom Ford announced the creation of the Tom Ford brand. The eyewear brand has been hugely successful and ranks among the top 3 brands at specialty stores worldwide In 2007 he opened his flagship,and first store, in New York City. There are currently 98 Tom Ford stores and shops around the world.
